Guitar Hero guitar is actual instrument
Inspired Instruments Inc have announced a new Guitar Hero/Rock Band
peripheral at CES this year. The You Rock guitar is not only designed
to be used as a Guitar Hero/ Rock Band peripheral but also to be used
as a MIDI controller or as a proper guitar when plugged into an
amplifier or headphones.
The You Rock guitar uses a system called GameFlex to allow
compatability with all the major gaming consoles which feature Guitar
Hero and Rock Band. The GameFlex system is module based with each
console needing a unique module.
The guitar also features built-in sound loops with numerous chord
progressions. This can then be used as a learning aid when trying to
learn to play guitar. The guitar is expected to sell for about $150
(R1100) with each GameFlex module costing up to $25 (R184) each.
